Please notice the transcript in part, since this was a long conversation.And here I quote the conversation with her, "I can still do cabinetry for like we said, for *****, because there is ONLY ONE PRO DOING THAT."I then ask her what it looks like for the other companies as far as leads. I reached out to Houzz and they provided a recording of the conversation which I am in possession of. She made it clear that there was only one company listed under cabinets and cabinetry. This includes cabinet refacing, kitchen remodelers, custom cabinetry. I get it, sales is a tough job but, to hang up because I’m asking questions that force him to admit there aren’t any leads in the customer furniture genre.I signed a contract with Houzz as a pro to begin May 1, 2023.When I spoke with *************************, the Houzz Representative, she made it clear that I would not have many competitors in my industry. It’s now clear to me that Scott Pesant had no interest in the longevity for Houzz, the company he works for and his team of builders are nothing more than sales goal he has to meet monthly. I responded by asking how many jobs have there been in my genre in the last 6 months because I found it concerning there were zero leads in the last 30 days and he immediately hung up, I called back and never got a response. He said their were none, he then went back to his script by saying their clientele base was typically on their second and third home, over 50 years of age, more established and over a year I can’t expect to see higher quality jobs. I said, all I wanted to know was how many leads there were for furniture building in a 20 mile radius. I spoke to Scott Pesant the following day, he asked what the main thing I was looking for if I were to join their team of builders. I’m a furniture builder and received a cold call from this company, they were trying to recruit me to join the site as a builder. Scott Pesant is a bad representative for this company There are better companies out there, DO NOT USE HOUZZ!!! I haven’t lost my crap in years but was dropping f bombs left and right with these people. I’m in awe that this company can be so disgusting. I run a business of course and couldn’t IMAGINE operating in this way. They are basically using a renewal contract to keep customers prisoner and steal their money.

They refused and over so here I am, to let it be known. I let them know that I didn’t want to renew, and also wanted a refund. I noticed the renewal in my bank account and called that same day. I was told that I would get a reminder before renewal, and that renewal would be month to month if I chose to move forward. I never got a lead in ANY of the areas I paid for.

I was convinced by a sales rep that they could promote my business to particular areas that I paid extra to receive leads from.
